How to add noise to images online?

  • Add all files you want to add noise to by drag and drop or click to select files.
  • Select the noise type and adjust the intensity.
  • Click on Add Noise button to process and download the files.
  • You can click on reset button if you want to process new files.
What are the different noise types?
  • Gaussian noise adds a natural-looking grain similar to high-ISO camera noise. Uniform noise adds evenly distributed random variations.
  • Impulse noise (salt and pepper) adds random black and white pixels. Laplacian and Poisson noise produce different statistical distributions useful for artistic effects.
  • Random noise combines various noise characteristics for a more organic look.
What is the intensity setting?
  • The intensity (attenuate) value controls how strong the noise effect is. A value of 1.0 is the standard amount. Lower values produce subtler noise, while higher values create more dramatic grain.
  • Start with 1.0 and adjust up or down to find the right look for your image.
