How to download a YouTube thumbnail?
Paste the link to any YouTube video — a regular video, a Short, or a live stream — and click Get Thumbnail.
The highest resolution available for that video is selected automatically.
Pick a different resolution if you want a smaller file, then download it.
- Copy the URL of the YouTube video, then paste it into the box above.
- Click Get Thumbnail — every resolution that actually exists for that video is listed.
- Choose a resolution, then click Download to save it as a JPG.
- If the download doesn't start automatically, use Open in New Tab and save the image from there.
