How to strip metadata from images online?
Add all files you want to strip metadata from by drag and drop or click to select files.
Click on Strip Metadata button to remove all metadata and download clean files.
You can click on reset button if you want to process new files.
What metadata is removed?
This tool removes all embedded metadata including EXIF data (camera model, settings, date/time), GPS coordinates, ICC color profiles, comments, and any other non-visual data stored in the image file.
The visual content of the image is not changed — only the hidden metadata is stripped.
Why should I strip image metadata?
Photos taken with smartphones and cameras often contain GPS coordinates that reveal where the photo was taken. Stripping metadata protects your privacy when sharing images online.
It can also slightly reduce file size since metadata adds extra bytes to each image file.
